Outstanding WWI Imperial German DWM 1917 Dated Luger Rig (Serial Number 32) with Two Matching Magazines and Holster

This is a beautiful example of an early all original, unaltered, "two-digit" serial numbered like new 1917 date DWM Luger rig that is complete with both of the original matching Luger magazines, an original Luger take-down tool and an original 1917 dated Luger holster. These DWM Lugers were the best of the WWI models, showing exceptionally nice fit and finish on all there pistols right up to the end of WWI. The Luger itself is an early 1917 dated Luger that carries an early two-digit serial number (32) on all the parts, and are highly desirable and much sought after by Luger collectors. The pistol itself has all the correct WWI DWM markings such as the 1917 dated chamber area with the DWM markings on the front toggle with the correct Imperial script letter and Imperial proofmarks on the barrel extension, frame and various small parts. The two magazines are the correct WWI type nickel plated magazines that have the all wooden base, with each one correctly marked with the serial number "32" with the spare magazine carrying the correct "+" marking. The Luger pistol is accompanied with the correct style WWI, brown leather holster, with the single diagonal flap closure on the front. Inside the flap it is marked: "MHILDEBRANDT/1917 STUTTGART".

ConditionExcellent plus with 98% plus of the original blued finish and 90% plus of the straw colors on the various small parts such as the trigger, takedown lever, safety, ejector and magazine release button. The grips are outstanding with a nice light brown color with crisp sharp checkering overall, which appear to have not yet been oiled. The holster as noted is a very fine 1917 dated holster with a nice light-medium brown color overall with nice tight stitching, showing just some slight scuffing and handling marks on the outside of the holster with clear markings on the inside of the flap. The only two points on the holster that keep it from being like new is that the lower toe has softened and been lightly pushed in and the strap shows wrinkling of the leather. As noted this Luger rig is all matching to include two matching magazines, with a very fine 1917 dated holster and takedown tool. Another example of a rare, two digit matching Luger rig that would be the center piece of any advanced Luger collection that would certainly be impossible to upgrade upon. If you wanted to own just one example of a Word War I Luger, here it is!
