The top of the receiver is marked "eagle/135/byf/43", the right side "eagle/135" and the left side is marked with the Nazi firing proof and the serial number. The left receiver wall is marked "Mod. 98", the rear of the barrel is marked with a Nazi firing proof and upper right side is marked "D352" and "eagle/135". All visible numbers match. Milled barrel bands, floor plate and trigger guard, ramped blade front sight, (hood absent), tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters, slotted cleaning rod and mounted with a pistol grip stock with matching handguard, cupped buttplate. The right rear and wrist of the stock are marked with an "eagle/WaA135" proofmark.

Excellent. The metal surfaces retain 95% original blue finish with fading to brown on the forward portion of the floor plate and scattered thinning. The stock is very fine with numerous small dings and dents. All of the markings are clear. The action is excellent.
