Produced without sights, with cannon muzzle, dual crossed scepter proofs on the upper left flat, and "DAYKIN NOTTINGHAM" on the top flat. A 12 inch long, hinged and spring loaded bayonet is dovetail mounted on the barrel, with a locking block on the muzzle and a sliding catch on the tang. No markings are visible on the lockplate. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a brass tipped wood ramrod, brass trigger guard, with light engraving on the brass reverse plate and buttplate heel.

Fair. The brass shows a fine aged patina, with some dents and areas of brown color. Steel components, including the bayonet, are heavily pitted. Stock is good, with mended cracks, scratches and dents. The snap bayonet functions fine. The mainspring is weak on the hammer.
