Produced in the early 1950s, this restored Sportsman Whizzer is considered the Cream of the Crop for the nostalgic Whizzer collector and is the forerunner to the gas sipping personal transport Mopeds and scooters of the modern era. This gleaming black beauty with red striping, lettering and chrome accessories just tantalizes the senses. Equipped with twist type throttle, a lever operated compression release, clutch lever and a foot operated, Whizzer marked rear drum brake with no brake on the front wheel. There are no pedals to manually drive this unit, it is propelled solely by the engine. A foot operated kick starter marked W6101 is on the left side of the engine, serial number 305808S, and it is fed by a Carter carburetor. The chrome rims sport 20 inch by 2.125 tires, the front fork is a dual spring telescopic type with chrome inner legs and a Whizzer marked cover. The Whizzer marked seat is black with a spring suspension, a chrome plated luggage rack and a side mounted bicycle type kick stand.

Excellent as restored with few, if any storage and usage marks. The tires appear to be newer.
