Manufactured in 1907, this special order Model 1894 features a 22 inch octagon barrel, 1/2 magazine, threaded muzzle (for silencer, not included) with knurled protective screw on the threads and is mounted with checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap and checkered hard rubber Winchester shotgun buttplate. Dovetailed blade front sight, the rear sight has been removed and a filler block installed and a short range Marble tang mounted peep sight has been added. The top barrel flat is marked with the two line address/patent date, nickel steel marking at the left rear and "32 W.S." at the breech. The oval Winchester proof appears on the top barrel flat and top of the receiver at the breech.
Very good as partially refinished, the barrel forward lower receiver and takedown ring. The barrel retains most of the finish with some light edge wear. The magazine retains 99% finish. The receiver retains 60% original finish with areas of smooth brown patina. The lever and hammer have a smooth dark patina with traces of the original case colors in protected areas. The wood is refinished with a small fill repair on the bottom rear of the forearm, overall a few minor dings and handling marks, and crisp recut checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
