Manufactured in 1934. Brass bead front and ivory mid bead sights on the matte vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked modified/modified, with ejectors. Blue barrels and satin coin on the remaining parts. Standard barrel markings. There is a 2 1/2 inch floral vine design engraved on the top of each side of the barrel. The action, trigger guard, and forearm hardware are engraved with floral vine designs, with a wooded scene of pheasants on the left side, ducks on the right side, quail on the bottom and two rabbits on the trigger guard. The right side of the action is signed "MAAS". Gold washed single trigger, tang mounted safety/selector and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a vented rubber Browning recoil pad.
Fine as refurbished. The refinished barrels retain 97% blue finish with the balance a smooth plum patina. There are a few small patches of minor oxidation and a couple of minor scratches. The remaining parts retain all of the refurbished dull satin coin finish. The shortened wood has been refinished and remains very fine, with some scattered minor dings and handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The markings are clear and the engraving crisp. Mechanically excellent.
