Description:

Blade front and adjustable folding ladder rear sights, with standard markings on the left side of the receiver. Smooth straight grip stock, with a "J.S.A./ 1902" cartouche on the left side ahead of the wrist, stamped and hand marked "P"s on the underside of the wrist, a brown leather Western Manufacturing sling, and a smooth flat buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with traces of the original blue finish, concentrated in the protected areas with a deep brown patina overall, showing areas of gray patina, mild spotting, and scattered dents. The receiver has turned a mixed gray patina. Stock is fine, with a few cracks in the butt, dents and scratches. Sling is good, with cracks and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
