The rifle retains its original rust blue finish with the internal areas and bolt assembly still in the white. The rear of the barrel section is marked with the Romanof Eagle over "II" over "REMINGTON / ARMORY / 1917 / No / 518502" and the receiver ring is marked with the Romanof Eagle over II. The full matching serial number is also marked on the right side of the bolt, the back of the cocking lever, magazine floor plate, and heel of the buttplate. The stock has the Romanof Eagle round cartouche dated 1917 on the right side of the buttstock and the Eagle head over the flaming ordnance bomb over "U.S." just ahead of the trigger guard. Complete with a cleaning rod and leather sling.
