Also known as the Model 1883. Blade front and "ski-slope" ladder rear sights, with the serial number on top of the receiver and the three line Winchester address and patent markings on the left side. The magazine cutoff switch is installed on the right side. Smooth straight grip stock, with the saddle ring on the left side and a smooth buttplate.

Very good as refinished, showing a mixed blue and brown patina overall, with light handling marks. The bolt and trigger guard have been polished. Stock is very good, with dents. Mechanically excellent.
