The Winchester barrel dated "8-18" has an importer marking on the right side of barrel near muzzle. Chamber has standard Winchester markings with the left receiver wall marked with an ordnance bomb and the top of the wall marked with two eagle head proofs. Bolt has the mis-matched number "677381". Correctly military stock with trapdoor buttplate and tang canvas sling.

Very fine as partially refinished (floor plate), retaining 80% of the blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The wood is fine, with numerous minor handling marks, some chipping around the receiver tang, and a series of gouges ahead of the rear band. Mechanically excellent.
