The top barrel flat is script marked "M * Martin" behind the notch rear sight and the light engraved lock plate is marked "LONDON/WARRANTED". The rifled barrel also has a low blade front sight. The rifle has brass furniture, double set triggers, three brass barrel wedges, and an engraved brass patch box. Mounted with a nicely figured full length stock which features a cheekpiece.
Very good. The barrel retains much of the protective coating mixed with areas of gray. The brass patch box has an attractive mustard yellow patina. The stock is fine as lightly varnished showing some very scattered minor handling marks.
