This is a nice example with an engraved and gold inlaid European revolver fitted with rare black mother of pearl grips. The casehardened frame and cylinder flats are decorated with fine scroll engraving with gold inlaid wire bordering. In addition there is a basket of flowers on the upper left side of the frame. The upper barrel flats are lightly engraved with a simple gold inlaid wire border. The top strap is marked "Manufre d'Armes/H.D.H.Liege". The right barrel flat, rear cylinder face and side of the frame are marked with various Belgian proof marks, the lower right front side of the frame is marked "HDH" and there is a "1" on the right side toe of the frame. Blade front and fixed integral rear sights, frame mounted safety with gold "S" and "F", dished cylinder and folding trigger.

Excellent. The barrel and cylinder retain 98% bright original high polish blue finish with some minor muzzle and edge wear. The frame retains 85% original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the grip straps. The grips are fine with a couple minor scaling chips and scratches on the right panel. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. All of the gold inlay remains.
