A similar gun is pictured on page 250 of Lewis Winant's "Firearms Curiosa". This is an all-metal, folding grip, double action revolver with a 6-shot cylinder and folding trigger. The sides of the frame feature a scroll engraving that extends to the cylinder chambers. It has blade front and recoil shield notch rear sights, with "D.D.OURY/BTE" stamped on the left side of the frame, a Liege "ELG" proof on the rear of the cylinder, and Belgium proofs on the right side of the barrel lug and frame. The grip has a raised scroll pattern with "1905" on the right side and "LE NOVO" on the left side.

Excellent. The revolver retains 90% plus original silver finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grip has a smooth dark patina. Mechanically excellent.
