Description:

This is a sterling silver award showing an Uhlan Lancer riding a horse with a lance. The statue is on a black marble base with a silver plaque on each side. One side is translated to "The Officer Corps/of the 1st Uhlan Regiment No. 17/Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria,/King of Hungary/to him I oath to end comrades." with the other side having "Riding champion Kurt Rudolf Karl/Noble of the Planitz/22. 3. 02 - 22. 4. 04."

Rating Definition:

Very good, The silver has a bright appearance with some dark aged patina in the protected areas. The lance has been bent downwards at a 90 degree angle. The marble base has some chips and scratches.
