Manufactured in 1980. This revolver is fitted with the rarely found 5 1/2 inch barrel, (7 1/2 inch was standard). The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, the left side is marked "COLT NEW FRONTIER SAA 44 SPECIAL" and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. Ramped front and adjustable rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame and fitted with smooth walnut grips with gold Colt medallions. Complete with the original "woodgrain" box with styrofoam insert numbered to the gun.

Near new with only slight handling/storage marks. The box is very good with tears on the end flaps and some wear.
