Exceptional Colt Official Police 38 Double Action Revolver with Box

Manufactured in 1965. One line address on the right side of the barrel, "OFFICIAL POLICE/.38 SPECIAL CTG." on the left, and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, all blue finish and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Comes with the correct maroon hinged lid box numbered to another gun.

ConditionExcellent. The revolver retains 99% original blue finish with some slight muzzle wear, a few light scratches and a couple of very small areas of minor spotting on the grip straps. The grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are sharp. The action is excellent. The box is good with the front lid flap absent, the left rear lid corner separated and some edge wear.
