Manufactured in 1934. The left side of the barrel is marked "22 BANKERS/SPECIAL", and the right side has the two line Colt address/1884-1926 patent dates. The left side plate is stamped with the Rampant Colt. It has a fixed front sight blade with a Police Positive target style rear sight blade. Features include a rounded grip frame, checkered hammer with polished sides, checkered trigger, and exposed ejector rod. This gun has been fitted with a set of period replacement curly maple grips with inlaid silver discs at the top, and includes the original checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Included is the original maroon hinged lid box numbered to the gun, with the blue label/white lettering on the bottom and white label/blue lettering on the lid, and an extra custom Colt barrel which has been reworked to 3 1/2 inch length and lined to .22 caliber.

Period refinished/modified with most of the dull finish showing mainly only edge wear with some scattered spotting, with crisp markings. The custom grips are fine with a few handling marks, and the extra original set of grips are excellent, showing a few minor dings, with sharp checkering. Mechanically fine. The box is very good, showing some edge wear and three corners of the lid have separated, however the box is complete with excellent original labels.
