Manufactured in 1924. Two line address/patent date marking on the left side of the barrel and "32 W.C.F." and the Winchester oval proof at the breech, the latter on the receiver as well. Three line upper tang marking and the serial number on the bottom of the receiver. Blade front and replaced express folding leaf rear sights, saddle ring and staple on the left side of the receiver, all blue finish and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel buttplate.

Very good. The carbine retains traces original blue finish, mainly in protected areas, with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The wood is also fine. An approximately 1/4 inch section has been cut out of the front of the comb (most likely for a tang sight which is now absent. The top tang is bright blue where it once was mounted), otherwise there is some shallow gouging on the right side of the stock and overall some scattered minor scratches and dents. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
