This is a 3rd Version with the iron frame and trigger guard that has been converted to 32 RF cartridge. The top barrel flat is marked with the two line patent date/address marking and "NEW MODEL" The breech end sides of the barrel are engraved with a simple line and dot design, the frame, cylinder and back strap are engraved with a floral scroll and punch dot design, with a feather design on the rear sides of the top strap and a geometric design on the recoil shields. The matching serial number is marked on the frame under the grip and on the bottom barrel flat. Fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Fair. The metal surfaces have a smooth gray patina. The loading lever latch is absent. The grips are fair overall with a large piece of the lower right side absent. The action needs work, the cylinder does not rotate when the hammer is cocked and the lever catch is missing on the barrel. The engraving is crisp and clear.
