Description:

Manufactured in 1867. The top of the barrel has the one line New York U.S. America address, "COLTS/PATENT" on the left side of the frame, and "36 CAL" on the left trigger guard shoulder. The cylinder has the Texan/Mexican navy scene and is stamped with the partial serial number "593". Mismatched wedge with remaining numbers matching. Fitted with a one-piece grip.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus. The revolver has a crisp mottled gray patina. Nearly all of the cylinder scene is still visible. The brass has a smooth attractive dark yellow patina overall. The grip is fine with a series of shallow small notches on the right side near the front strap and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
