This is a framed picture of Dr. Gatling standing behind a Model 1893 Bulldog. Underneath the picture is an off-white 3 1/2 inch x 2 1/2 inch card signed "Yours Truly,/R.J. Gatling/Hartford, Conn./June 28th" with a notation at the top "Inventor of The "Gatling" gun.)". Next to the first card is a second card with his picture and a block of text "DR. RICHARD JORDAN GATLING,/Inventor of the Gatling Gun, at the Age of Eighty.". The frame is gold with black in the protected areas and measures 19 inches tall x 13 1/4 inches wide. Rating Definition:

Very good, the picture shows a few small spots of discoloration and the signed card has a small area where the year appears to have flaked off.
