The top of the receiver ring is marked "U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MI922MI./CAL..22" over the serial number. The replacement bolt is marked "M2 D 28223-3", scribed with the serial number and the bolt handle marked "NS/M2" indicating that this is a M2 bolt. The rifle has a Lyman micrometer rear sight and a raised globe front sight. Mounted with a one piece smooth walnut pistol grip stock. Checkered steel buttplate and a leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished. The rifle retains 75% plus of the parkerized finish with sharp edge wear and marks from use and handling. The leather sling shows wear and marks from use and handling. The wood is very good with marks from use and handling. Overall, minor dings and light scratches are visible. Mechanically excellent.
