Manufactured as a Model 1922 MI, and later converted to MII which included installing an early NS, M2 bolt. The top of the receiver markings are partially covered by a scope base. Springfield Armory barrel dated "12-34". The bolt handle is marked NS/M2, "M2" and "D 28223-2" on the bolt and the extractor is marked "C3998". Hooded blade front sight and receiver mounted Lyman peep sight. Equipped with a Winchester A5 scope marked "K3282" and with contemporary leather lens caps. Mounted with a smooth pistol grip stock with forearm grooves, a boxed "S.A./R." on the left side of the buttstock and circled "P" in the grip, checkered steel buttplate and brown leather sling. Comes with an extra magazine.

Arsenal refinished with 98% parkerized finish remaining with some blotchy areas of finish loss on the barrel. The stock is very fine with a small arsenal repair on the left side at the receiver and a couple minor scratches. The scope is good with strong original blue finish mixed with smooth brown patina. The optics are clear. The sling is good showing some wear and age cracking. The action is fine.
