This is a Victorian are officer's dress sabretache for the 14th Hussars. The body is composed of tan leather with a red cloth covered flap with gold lace around the outside edge having a white silk stripe in the center and a yellow strip along the edge. There is an embroidered Victorian crown at the top over a gold bullion embroidered "VR" cypher over a Prussian eagle with 11 battle honors around it on raised blue banners with gold bullion embroidered laurel. With a red leather cover with red velvet lining.
