The lock is marked "RIVIERE", the top of the barrel near the breech is marked "RIVIERE LONDON", the left rear has a recessed crown over "GP" and "V" proof and a small "N" over a "^" on its side. Brass mountings with lightly engraved left side plate and trigger guard with a pineapple finial. Small bayonet lug on top of the barrel and no sight provisions. Sling loop mounted on the front of the trigger guard and forward forearm, iron button head ramrod secured by four brass pipes and mounted with a full straight grip walnut stock with a lightly engraved long buttplate tang and thumb oval. "G-25" unit marked on belly of stock rear of trigger guard.
