The breech end of the barrel is marked "836" in addition to various Swiss proof marks and the bolt is numbered to the gun. The barrel is fitted with a globe sight and an adjustable peep aperture target sight has been mounted on the right side of the receiver. The rifle retains the original rear tangent style sight graduated to 1,500 meters. Detachable six round magazine, enlarged trigger guard, beech wood pistol grip stock with forearm finger grooves. The right side of the stock has a 3 1/2 inch 100 year "Field to Protect Society" sticker affixed to it. Import marked. It is complete with an original leather sling. These rifles are noted for their smooth actions and excellent accuracy.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original dull blue finish with some thinning on the barrel. The hand guard has been revarnished and overall the wood is very good with a few scattered minor pressure dents and scratches. The markings remain crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
