Manufactured in Japan, this shotgun features two ivory beads on the matte vent rib, chambered 2 3/4 and 3 inch, choked improved cylinder/modified with ejectors. The action and trigger guard are lightly floral scroll engraved and there is a gold relief Pheasant in flight on the bottom of the receiver. The breech end on the rib is marked with a gold filled "12" and the left side is marked "WINCHESTER MODEL 23 CLASSIC-12 GA. 2 3/4" & 3"/EAST ALTON, IL. U.S.A.". Gold single trigger, jeweled water table and tang mounted safety/selector. Mounted with extra fancy, finely multi-point checkered walnut forearm with an ebony forend insert, lightly engraved hardware and pistol grip stock with metal grip cap, gold initial oval and solid black Winchester recoil pad. Complete with a green Winchester takedown case with leather trim, brass hardware and wine colored padded corduroy lining with leather accents. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches. This shotgun is one of a complete set of four with the last four of the serial numbers matching (381E).

Near new with some overall light handling/storage marks. The wood is also excellent with only light handling/storage marks and sharp checkering. All markings and engraving remain sharp. Mechanically excellent.
