Manufactured in 1895 with a single brass bead sight on a concave matte rib, choked modified/improved modified and 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor. The rib is marked "COLT S PT F A MFG CO HARTFORD CT U S A" and the bottom of the receiver is marked "PATENTED/AUG. 22. SEP. 19. 1882.". Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm with ebony forend insert and round knob pistol grip stock with initial oval and hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 13 inches.

Good, retaining 60% of the damascus pattern mostly in the protected areas. The barrels appear to have been cleaned. There is a patch of minor pitting and a few light dings in the left barrel. 25% case colors remain with some areas of light surface oxidation. The wood is also good with scattered dings, scratches and a small crack in the forearm. Buttplate is chipped and cracked. Rear trigger needs work.
