Fine scroll engraving is present on the sides of the frame, top, and backstrap, with border engraving around the address and striped lines on either side of the hammer, and the cylinder is finely etched, with 3 knurled bands flanking leafy and patriotic designs. Present on the left side of the frame is a small screw which secures the hand spring, one of the signature features of the Warner Pocket Pistol.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina and scattered handling marks overall. Traces of original silver are present on the frame and triggerguard, with the exposed steel turning brown and gray and the brass showing a deep aged patina. Grips are excellent, with some minor chips and cracks, as well as an attractive aged grain and color. Mechanically excellent.
