Manufactured in 1875. The barrel has the two line Hartford address on the top and faint a "COLT NEW 30" etched in a panel on the left side. The matching serial number is marked on the butt, barrel and cylinder. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, gold finish with niter blue hammer and fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Very fine as retailer plated with 90% gold finish remaining, showing some muzzle and high edge wear, and some speckled flaking. Much of the bright original niter blue finish remains on the hammer. The grips are excellent with a few light handling marks. The etched panel has been finished over and the remaining markings are clear. The action is excellent.
