Near Mint Smith & Wesson 5th Model Double Action Revolver with Box

Manufactured circa 1909-1919. Standard barrel rib two line address/patent dates marking with the caliber marking on the left side of the barrel. Matching numbers on butt, cylinder, barrel and latch. Fitted with checkered S&W monogram grips with the right grip panel numbered to the gun. The factory box is numbered to another gun but has the correct end label for this type of revolver.

ConditionExcellent to near mint. The revolver retains 98% plus original nickel finish. The trigger guard retains most of the original blue finish and the hammer and trigger guard retains 97% bright original vibrant and deep case colors. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. The box is fine with limited corner separation and some scattered minor wear.
