Stunning Smith & Wesson 38 Safety Hammerless 4th Model Double Action Revolver with Original Box

Manufactured from 1898 to 1907. Barrel has the caliber marking on the left side and barrel rib has the two line address/patent dates marking. Matching numbers on butt, cylinder, barrel and latch. Fitted with checkered S&W monogram grips with the right panel numbered to the gun. Included with the revolver is the original factory box.

ConditionExcellent. The revolver retains 98% plus original nickel finish with some very minor flaking (mostly on the cylinder). The trigger guard retains 98% of the original blue finish and the trigger retains vivid and bright original case colors. The grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with some minor edge wear. The end label is clear.
