The chamber is dated "1916", the toggle has the "DWM" monogram on the toggle and three "crown/script letter" proofs next to the Imperial Eagle proof on the right side of the barrel extension. Full matching serial number on barrel extension, frame and barrel with the small parts having the final two digits of the serial number. The Imperial Eagle proof is also marked on the top rear of the barrel and left side of the breech. Matching number on the wood magazine base, with "E" and "W" carved above and below. It has checkered grips and a stock lug on the backstrap. The extra magazine with wood base is also numbered to the gun (without carved letters).

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue, showing some bright wear on the high edges, a few small areas of spotting, light scratches on the lug and mild handling marks overall. Half of the original straw colors remain. The grips are very fine, with a few light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
