The top of the receiver is marked "42/1940" and the right side has three "Eagle/655" Waffenamt proofs. The left side of the receiver has a single Eagle firing proof and the left receiver wall is marked "Mod. 98". The rear sight base has been modified and fitted with a ZF 41 dovetail base and fitted with an original ZF41 scope and mount. The scope is marked "ZF/41/CXN/114208". The mount is marked "1673k/Eagle214/duv". It has the early machined barrel bands, trigger guard and floorplate all of which are stamped "2205". The rifle has been fitted with the early style laminated stock and hand guard and a flat buttplate, with the right side of the buttstock stamped with a double "Eagle/WaA623" Waffenamt proof below the stock bolt and the serial number "2205" stamped on the left side. It has a military tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters along with a standard inverted "v" front sight. It is complete with a rubber muzzle cover, front sight cover, cleaning rod and leather sling.
