Equipped with adjustable ramp blade front and notch rear sights, with the one line address on the left side of the barrel, the Rampant Colt over "WOODSMAN" on the frame, and "COLT/AUTOMATIC/CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE" on the slide, all executed in gold inlay along with the serial number and a pair of gold bands at the muzzle and breech. The pistol is further accented with scroll and punch dot engraving, as well as an eight-pointed radiant star on the back strap. Fitted with an attractive pair of smooth ivory grips with a contoured right handed thumbrest. According to information provided by a previous owner, this pistol was special ordered from Colt by noted collector Larry Mayle.

Near new, with 99% plus original blue finish, showing some light handling marks and edge wear overall. Grips are excellent with a few minimal handling marks, as well as a gently aging color which serves to enhance the natural grain. Mechanically excellent.
