Manufactured in 1938 with a fixed front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked "MATCH/bullseye/TARGET" and the top is marked with the two line/three patent date marking. The left side of the frame is marked "THE WOODSMAN" and the serial number is marked on the butt. Fitted with a checkered wraparound elephant ear grip with silver Colt medallions. With hang tag, original box numbered to gun, test target, bore brush, extra set of synthetic grips and an extra magazine.

Excellent, 95% of the original blue finish with some minor muzzle and high edge wear with a few scattered scratches and the rear grip strap has a smooth gray patina. The grip is excellent with sharp checkering. The box is good with several split corners.
