Ramp beaded blade front sight and adjustable notch rear sight with "45-70" marked on the replacement barrel at the breech. The fine scroll engraved receiver is marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" on the left side, has an extended upper tang tapped for a sight and with the receiver ring matted. Matching numbers (1327) on the front of the frame and on the trigger with the forearm numbered "4503". Nicely figured pistol grip stock with multi-point checkering, engraved grip cap, horn forend tip and solid Pachmayr recoil pad.

Very fine. The barrel retains 70% blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The receiver retains 60% case colors. The refinished wood is excellent with some scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
