Description:

1) Size medium U.S. Army Air Forces Type B-1 fleece lined flight pants manufactured by S.A.A.D. Zippers are marked "CROWN" and the pants retain the elastic foot bands. 2) Size 42L U.S. Navy M445A heavy winter flight jacket manufactured by Willis and Geiger. The zipper is marked "TALON". 3) Pair of men size 5 U.S. Air Force sheepskin Type A-1 flight boots manufactured by Bristolite. Zippers are marked "CROWN". 4) AAF dress coat with U.S. and AAF officer lapel insignia and 1st Lt. bars. The left shoulder has an embroidered 8th Air Forces patch and there are 6 service ribbons including Distinguished Flying Cross. 5) Distinguished Flying Cross with case.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, showing some very scattered mild flaking and a small repair on the leather. The main zipper has a small area where the teeth are missing. Most of the fleece remains. Much of the USAAF winged star insignia remains. 2) Good, with a couple tears and some scatted mild flaking. 3) Good, with overall age cracking on the leather. Much of the USAF winged star insignia remains on both boots. 4) Fine with a few moth holes. 5) Excellent.
