Fitted with blade front and rounded notch rear sights, with the two line, two block address and patent marks on the left side of the slide with the circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations and "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. NAVY" (with serifs) on the right side. The frame bears Walter G. Fitted with a wire checkered hammer, long smooth trigger, short grip safety, smooth lanyard base mainspring housing and checkered grips with diamond patterns around the screws. The barrel is a later production replacement marked "Colt 45 Auto" "P" and "G" on bottom.

Very fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of rough brown patina and deep pitting on areas of the forward top slide and frame. Grips are fine, with some scratches and dents. Magazine not included. Mechanically excellent.
