Manufactured in 1947, with a red bead front sight and a steel mid bead sight on the vent rib, choke marked "SKEET" and a 3 inch chamber. The vent rib is marked "PATENTED/DEC 2. 1947" on the right side of the last post next to the receiver. The left side of the receiver is engraved with floral scroll framing a scene of two dogs looking at a flying grouse in a field with trees in the background. The right side is engraved with floral scroll framing four ducks in flight over a marsh. Mounted on a nicely figured, diamond pattern checkered, extended walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a silver initial diamond marked "R/G" and an unmarked recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Custom embellished, 98% blue finish with some minor cycling wear and a 9 digit number scratched into the magazine tube. The replacement wood is excellent with only minor handling marks. Recoil pad has been sanded smooth.
