Manufactured in 1956, there is a "type 7" hooded ramp front sight and "early" fully adjustable "African" rear sight. The French gray straight tang receiver has generous floral scroll engraving with the front bridge matted and lightly stippled with the rear bridge and tang lightly stippled. The French gray floor plate and trigger guard also have floral scroll engraving with the floor plate marked "- SUPER GRADE -". The bolt body, extractor and follower are jeweled with a bright hollow bolt knob and "late" safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend, steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, rear sling stud and factory recoil pad.

Professionally custom embellished, 98% plus finish remaining with some light scratches and some high edge wear. The rear sight adjustment screw and wheel have some marks. The stock is excellent with some scattered scratches and pressure dents.
