Manufactured in 1950, there are holes drilled and tapped at the muzzle end of the barrel and a Winchester scope block above the right side of the "style 3" marking. The straight tang receiver has a Winchester scope block on the front receiver bridge, left rear side has drilled and tapped holes for sight mounting and there are two filled holes that have been drilled and tapped with filler screws on the rear receiver bridge. The bolt has a "late" safety and is electropenciled to match the gun. Mounted on a smooth walnut Marksman style stock with forend accessory rail, sling swivels, hand stop/sling swivel and a checkered steel buttplate. With a leather claw sling with "AL FREELAND" marked sliding aluminum clamp.

Excellent, 98% plus original blue finish with the rear receiver bridge having been drilled and tapped twice and the hollow bolt has been filled in. The stock is excellent with scattered minor scratches and dings. Sling is very good.
