Single bead front sight on solid matte rib marked "PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDEN CONN DAMASCUS STEEL", 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked improved modified/modified, with an extractor. The action is lightly scroll engraved with "PARKER BROS" and game bird scenes on the sides and a game bird scene on the underside. The water table is marked with the patent dates and "2/96799/G". Double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with grip cap, blank initial shield, and checkered buttplate without the logo. Length of pull is 13 1/4 inches.

Very good. The barrels retain 60% of the Damascus pattern showing strong traces of original brown finish remaining in the protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina. The receiver retains strong traces of original case colors in and around the protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina. The wood is fair with a number of minor handling marks and a crudely repaired break in the wrist. The markings are clear. Mechanically fine.
