Description:

This is a unique example of a French single shot percussion ring gun. The band of the ring is marked "LE PETIT PROTECTOR" flanked by a light floral engraving. German silver with the small parts blue finished iron. The case has a Le Petit Protector silver oval maker plate on top of the lid. The interior of the case is lined in blue velvet and the inside of the lid is lined in silk with a Winsor Bishop label. The case also holds a brush and screwdriver.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains nearly all of the original niter blue finish. Mechanically fine. The case is fine showing some minor wear.
