Wm. W. Marston Three-Barrel Pistol

Manufactured from 1864 to 1872 with a total production of about 3,000. Marked "WM W. MARSTON/PATENTED/MAY 26. 1867/NEW YORK CITY/IMPROVED 1864" on the left side plate. Barrel counter indicator on the right side of the frame, tip down three superposed barrel cluster, brass frame, and spur trigger.

ConditionFine. The barrels retain 40% original blue the balance has thinned along high edges and is a mottled gray/dark patina showing some minor handling marks overall. The frame is now a pleasantly aged dark mustard patina with some scattered handling marks and a few dark spots. The grips are fine exhibiting minor pressure marks and may have had an extra coat of varnish applied some time ago. Mechanically fine.
