Custom Herters Bolt Action Rifle with Leupold Scope

Hooded blade front sight with no rear sight installed. Mounted with a Leupold 3 X 9 Vari X II on a redfield base. Fabrique National (FN) manufactured supreme action and barrel. Fitted with a deluxe blond myrtel stock with contrasting rosewood tip and pistol grip cap. Crisp straight and scalloped border French style (skip line) checkering with an Imperial" White Line" solid rubber recoil pad. This rifle was marketed by Herters Sporting Goods between 1965 and 1970.

ConditionExcellent. The rifle retains 98% plus of the blue finish with light marks from handling and storage. Some oxidation is visible on both sides of the front sight ramp. The wood is excellent with faint marks from handling and storage. Mechanically excellent. The scope optics are clear.
