This early production Type III Derringer has an extensive custom scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrels, frame sides and back strap. The barrel rib is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y." Barrels numbered to gun. Fitted with pearl grips. The case is lined in green velvet and holds six 41 rimfire cartridges.

Professionally embellished with most of the silver finish remaining showing limited minor flaking and blister of the finish on the barrels. The hinges are both cracked. The grips are fine with some chipping and some minor handling marks. The engraving is crisp. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some minor handling marks overall and some wear on the lining.
