Description:

This percussion pistol has double barrels that are separated by a 9 inch blade. The spear blade features an extensive floral scroll etching that incorporates military motifs. The center of the blade is grooved. Two crown proofs are stamped on the "S" shaped iron cross guard under the barrels. The double percussion hammers also act as part of the cross guard and when one hammer is cocked, a single folding trigger is released. The grip has two German silver panels. The panels have a twist pattern.

Rating Definition:

Good. The pistol has a smooth gray patina with a darker patina in the protected areas of the blade. There are a few patches of light pitting overall. Most of the etching remains on the very good blade. The German silver is fine with a few screws retaining missing. Mechanically fine. No scabbard.
