This is the very first production Colt/Winchester commemorative lever action carbine. The barrel has wonderful gold highlighted floral scroll with "WINCHESTER" on the left side of the barrel with the factory pictured on the right side. The receiver has the logo, floral scroll and "W/C" highlighted in gold on the left side with Oliver F. Winchester depicted on the right side with floral scroll highlighted in gold. The carbine is finished blue with a casehardened lever. Brass blade front and adjustable buckhorn rear sight, and mounted with a nicely figured checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a smooth curved steel buttplate. Complete with an oak presentation case which also houses "B" of this lot, a brass commemorative plaque on the lid, wine colored velvet lining and two commemorative medallions, both are numbered "0001WC" on the back sides.

Near new with only the slightest handling marks and some minor discoloration on the receiver. The case is also excellent with a few light handling marks overall. The medallions are also excellent.

It features beautiful gold highlighted floral scroll etched patterns on the barrel with "COLT" on the left side and the Colt factory pictured on the right side. The cylinder also has gold highlighted floral scroll patterns with "W/C" and the Rampant Colt on a globe also highlighted in gold. The back strap has the signature "COL SAM COLT" highlighted in gold. Fitted with a smooth walnut one-piece grip.

Near new with only the slightest handling marks and a few small spots of freckling.
