The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, and niter blue trigger. Fitted with checkered Rampant Colt embossed grips numbered "7540" on the inside of each panel.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 85% original blue finish with some muzzle and edge wear, some scattered minor flaking, some minor spotting and some minor pitting on the ejector housing. The cylinder shows a drag line, numerous minor scratches and a patch of blue loss on one of the chambers. The frame and hammer retain 80% original case colors with a smooth silver gray patina on the balance. The trigger retains almost all of the bright original niter blue finish. The grips are excellent with a moderate chip on the lower left side and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
